Overview

This guide covers Adding Custom Combos in Chively using a consistent, support-friendly workflow.

Before you begin

  • Confirm you can access the Chively Management Page or POS as needed.
  • Make sure your account has permission to change these settings.
  • Keep a test order, test payment, or test user available for validation.

Steps

  1. Select Custom Combos on the POS.
  2. On the management page, go to Menu/Menu offline. Click Add and then select Combo.
  3. After entering the information for a specific combo, scroll down to Items in combo. To add the customizable items that are featured in the combo, click Add items.
  4. Enter the option name. Here are the steps to add options:.
  5. Select optional items in the combo.
  6. For items already included in the combo, set the price to $0.
  7. For items with an extra charge, enter the additional fee in the �Upcharge� column.
  8. If you require a selection from the Options group, check Required. Set the minimum and maximum quantity for the group. If there is no minimum, enter 0 in the Min box. If there is no maximum, select No Max Value.
  9. Selecting Custom Combos on the POS.
  10. On the Options tab, select items and increase the quantity.
  11. Click Save to add the combo to the order.
  12. Click Pay to complete the order.

Verification

  • Confirm the change is visible in the expected Chively screen.
  • Run a quick real-world test to ensure behavior is correct.
  • If results are unexpected, double-check permissions and device/network status.
