Overview

This guide covers Assigning Items to Kitchen or Bar in Chively using a consistent, support-friendly workflow.

Before you begin

  • Confirm you can access the Chively Management Page or POS as needed.
  • Make sure your account has permission to change these settings.
  • Keep a test order, test payment, or test user available for validation.

Steps

  1. The software will immediately create a kitchen in its system. If your restaurant only has 1 kitchen, then every time a dish or drink is entered into the system to that default kitchen.
  2. If your restaurant has multipl.
  3. Go to Category/Kitchen.
  4. Click Add and select Add row to select the dishes that are prepared in this specific kitchen.

Verification

  • Confirm the change is visible in the expected Chively screen.
  • Run a quick real-world test to ensure behavior is correct.
  • If results are unexpected, double-check permissions and device/network status.
