Overview
This guide covers Assigning Items to Kitchen or Bar in Chively using a consistent, support-friendly workflow.
Before you begin
- Confirm you can access the Chively Management Page or POS as needed.
- Make sure your account has permission to change these settings.
- Keep a test order, test payment, or test user available for validation.
Steps
- The software will immediately create a kitchen in its system. If your restaurant only has 1 kitchen, then every time a dish or drink is entered into the system to that default kitchen.
- If your restaurant has multipl.
- Go to Category/Kitchen.
- Click Add and select Add row to select the dishes that are prepared in this specific kitchen.

Verification
- Confirm the change is visible in the expected Chively screen.
- Run a quick real-world test to ensure behavior is correct.
- If results are unexpected, double-check permissions and device/network status.
