Overview
This guide covers using SUNMI CPad PAY as a customer-facing payment display (CFD) or secondary payment screen in Chively.
Before you begin
- Confirm the device is SUNMI CPad PAY and your countertop setup supports the mounting/base used.
- Decide whether the screen will run in combined mode (pogo pin) or separated mode (Wi-Fi/Bluetooth/cable).
- Confirm payment certification and processor requirements are met for your deployment market.
Steps
- Install the CPad PAY on a stable base and align it for customer visibility at checkout.
- Connect it to the primary terminal in the mode your station design requires.
- Verify payment handoff from POS to customer-facing interaction screen.
- Test contactless and card-present payment prompts and confirm customer amounts render clearly.
- Validate fallback behavior if the secondary display disconnects during checkout.
- Lock down device settings to reduce accidental app exits or orientation changes.
