Overview

This guide covers using SUNMI CPad PAY as a customer-facing payment display (CFD) or secondary payment screen in Chively.

Before you begin

  • Confirm the device is SUNMI CPad PAY and your countertop setup supports the mounting/base used.
  • Decide whether the screen will run in combined mode (pogo pin) or separated mode (Wi-Fi/Bluetooth/cable).
  • Confirm payment certification and processor requirements are met for your deployment market.

Steps

  1. Install the CPad PAY on a stable base and align it for customer visibility at checkout.
  2. Connect it to the primary terminal in the mode your station design requires.
  3. Verify payment handoff from POS to customer-facing interaction screen.
  4. Test contactless and card-present payment prompts and confirm customer amounts render clearly.
  5. Validate fallback behavior if the secondary display disconnects during checkout.
  6. Lock down device settings to reduce accidental app exits or orientation changes.
