Overview

This guide explains how to configure SUNMI P3H devices for handheld Chively ordering and payment operations.

Before you begin

  • Confirm the model is SUNMI P3H (P3 family).
  • Verify battery health and charging accessories for full-shift usage.
  • Confirm SIM/eSIM or Wi-Fi connectivity plan for your service area.

Steps

  1. Connect the P3H to your approved network and complete initial device checks.
  2. Sign in to Chively and verify role access for handheld staff workflows.
  3. Test the barcode scanner and item lookup for speed and accuracy.
  4. Validate payment acceptance on all enabled methods (NFC, chip, swipe, scan).
  5. Run a test transaction end-to-end and confirm receipt behavior for your configuration.
  6. Apply protective accessories (strap/case) before production service.
  7. Assign the device to a shift/team and document handoff procedures.
